Stacie Roberts serves as Vice President of Corporate Governance. Ms. Roberts provides guidance to the Company’s leadership team, including the Board of Directors, on corporate governance and compliance matters. Under her leadership, the Corporate Governance team was awarded Best Corporate Governance in the U.S. by World News Media Ltd. in 2024 and 2022, the Torch Award for Ethics by the Better Business Bureau of Delaware in 2024, and prior to that, Best Corporate Governance among North American Utilities by Ethical Boardroom magazine and Governance Team of the Year by Governance Intelligence Magazine. Ms. Roberts was previously named as one of the top Women in Business by Delaware Today Magazine. She serves as a member of the Advisory Board at the John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance and is also a member of Women’s 100 Exclusive Network. Ms. Roberts is a member of the Advisory Board and former officer of the Middle Atlantic Chapter, Society for Corporate Governance and a former Chair of the Society’s Essentials Program. She is a member of the American Gas Association, Florida Natural Gas Association, and Southern Gas Association. She formerly served as a member of the Board and Chair of the Employment Committee of The Arc of Delaware. Ms. Roberts serves as the Executive Sponsor of Chesapeake Utilities’ DiverseAbilities employee resource group. Ms. Roberts is the co-author of an op-ed entitled, “Practical Considerations for a Board’s Oversight Role of Its Company’s ESG Program” published in Financial Times’ Agenda. Ms. Roberts serves with various working groups and is a speaker on corporate governance matters. She has more than 20 years of experience with increasing responsibility in corporate governance, including at a Fortune 500 company.
