SANDPIPER ENERGY AGREES TO A MULTI-YEAR RATE REDUCTION FOR CUSTOMERS, NEW SERVICE OFFERINGS

Dover, Delaware — Sandpiper Energy, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation, announced today that the Public Service Commission of Maryland has approved a settlement agreement associated with its 2015 base rate case filing, which will result in a reduction in its delivery service rates over the next six years. Chesapeake Utilities Corporation Kicks Off Fourth Annual Summer Cares Program with the Food Bank of Delaware

Dover, Delaware – Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE: CPK) (“Chesapeake”) announced its fourth annual Chesapeake Summer Cares Volunteer Program with more than 100 Delmarva employees and family members donating their time and energy at the Food Bank of Delaware’s Milford facility. EASTERN SHORE NATURAL GAS RECEIVES FERC APPROVAL TO PROVIDE FIRM NATURAL GAS TRANSPORTATION SERVICE TO CALPINE’S GARRISON ENERGY CENTER

Dover, Delaware – Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE: CPK) (“Chesapeake Utilities”) announced today that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”) approved on July 21 the application by Eastern Shore Natural Gas (“ESNG”), Chesapeake Utilities’ interstate natural gas transmission subsidiary, to expand firm natural gas transportation service to Calpine Energy Services’ Garrison Energy Center in Dover, Delaware.
