Chesapeake Utilities distributes natural gas in Delaware and Maryland to about 108,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers, and owns over 2,000 miles of natural gas distribution mains. The Delaware division continues to extend its distribution system throughout Delaware including the eastern portion of Sussex County. The Maryland division is continuing its expansion into Cecil County in northeastern Maryland. With its entry into the renewable natural gas (RNG) market, Chesapeake Utilities continues to expand its energy offerings for customers while increasing environmental benefits and supporting a more sustainable future.
