DOVER, Del. – In the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE:CPK) has announced $50,000 in donations to support the continuing recovery efforts of affected communities. The Company is donating to the following organizations:
$30,000 to American Red Cross – Help those Affected by Disasters: providing food, shelter, relief supplies, emotional support, recovery planning and other assistance during disasters.
$10,000 to Volunteer Florida – The Florida Disaster Fund: a private fund established to assist Florida’s communities as they respond to and recover during times of emergency or disaster.
$10,000 to Samaritan’s Purse – Hurricane Relief Fund: a nondenominational organization that mobilizes to provide emergency aid, Samaritan’s Purse is responding to both Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, with multiple disaster relief bases in North Carolina and Florida.
