Chesapeake cares about each community we serve; not only where we work, but also the places we call home. Below you will find a number of resources designed to help spread information about local events and organizations that positively affect each of our communities.
Chesapeake Utilities Corporation created the SHARING fund with donations provided by customers, employees, and our Company to ensure that the elderly, ill and those facing financial hardship are not forgotten during the cold winter months when energy bills are at their peak. Our employees generously volunteer their time and energy to give back to their communities. Each year, Chesapeake employees help clean up local highways; collect food, clothing and supplies to donate to local agencies; adopt families for the holidays; and participate in numerous fundraising 5K runs and walks.
Safety is a top priority for our Company, and our employees are well informed on all the necessary safety procedures; but our focus on safety doesn’t stop there. Each year, we speak at local schools about proper safety procedures at home and as they relate to the utility industry.
