"There are so many children out in our communities that don’t have that one-on-one time with their parents to express feelings; or just to have time to play games with them; or have them read a book to them. It has been rewarding to have the opportunity to touch someone’s life and give them the time to express themselves. The young child that I had could not wait for me to come each week. It was her special time to shine."

"I really enjoy our Tuesdays together. We get to hang out and play some sports and he gets to talk and discuss some things that may be on his mind. I’m happy to be Andrew's mentor and I’m glad he feels the same way, and requests me on an annual basis."
Connecting Generations is a Delaware-based non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of children through nationally recognized, certified mentoring programs. Connecting Generations supports nearly 1,500 mentors and over 80 mentoring programs.
In 2015, we expanded our program with the addition of our new partner, Junior Achievement. This program pairs mentees and mentors in the classroom, inspiring and preparing young people to succeed locally and in the global economy.
